Amanda Conner
After working in a comic book store, artist Amanda Connor approached Marvel and received her first assignment, which appeared in Solo Avengers (#12) in 1988. Around this time, she also worked with Archie Comics, contributing to the title series and The Adventures of Bayou Billy.
In 2015 a poll of CBR readers voted Connor the #2 female artist of all time. This was in no small part due to her work with DC on books that include Birds of Prey, Before Watchmen: Silk Spectre, Power Girl, and various Harley Quinn projects.
